Information about Galerie Piece Unique



 Focus
The gallery was founded in 1988. Its original concept is to exhibit each time only one and unique artwork realized specially for the space by a contemporary artist. The window of the gallery remains lightened until 2 o'clock at night.
The other reason for the name of the gallery is that this "unique" room (in French 'Piece') located on the street level is completely devoted to the artist work. The office is located on the first floor.
On occasion of the 10 years of the gallery a book has been published: Piece Unique "10 ANNI 1989 - 1998".

Since February 2000, Pièce Unique extended to a new space located 26, rue Mazarine and named "PIECE UNIQUE VARIATIONS" in order to show permanently works by the artists represented by the gallery and organize some special events during the year.
